wait, what do you do if you’re not in the EST for New Year’s? it doesn’t make sense to me to not “celebrate” (which really means doing nothing, so this conversation is pointless) when it’s midnight in New York…i mean, you can’t not do that, can you? the program is live and airs from New York, so how the hell do you even watch it without feeling ultimately anti-climactic if you’re in another part of the country?
